Seminar: Perspectives on textual scholarship and editorial practice

On 24 January 2019 the Institute for Nordic Studies and Linguistics held a seminar "Perspectives on textual scholarship and editorial practice" organized on behalf of the Research Group Textual Scholarship by Matthew James Driscoll, Krista Stinne Greve Rasmussen and myself. The research group brings together researchers of texts their origin, transmission and transposition from one medium to another (i.e. from manuscript to print, or from printed books to electronic texts).

The seminar featured two keynote speakers: professor of Italian philology Paolo Trovato from the University of Ferrara and professor of Old Norse philology Matthew James Driscoll from the University of Copenhagen. Additionally there were four project presentations delivered by Elisabet Göransson; Anne Mette Hansen; Odd Einar Haugen and yours truly (Full program here).

The event attracted over forty participants from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland, who engaged in fruitful discussions.

Thank you all for the participation.
